We offer a ten day mountain goat hunt in the remote mountainous area of our exclusive guiding territories. Our mountains here have little hunting pressure and our goat hunts enjoy a high success rate. The season starts in early August and goes until late-February in some areas. As the mountain nights become colder the goats’ winter coats grow longer, making for high quality coats. In cooperation with Skeena Mountain Outfitters Ltd. we have access to 1.5 million acres of combined hunting area. This region of British Columbia is well-known for producing record book billies. We use 4×4, quads, or horses to reach a spike camp, then hike to tree-line and beyond.
Hunt prices quoted below are in US dollars, and do not include (quoted in Canadian dollars) your non-resident license ($189), goat tag ($350), wildlife conservation fee ($250), government harvest royalty ($150), GST taxes (5% of hunt price), and gratuities (typically 15%) for guides and staff. Any meat processing is not included but we can arrange for you to take the meat to one of several local excellent butchers. Following a required government inspection, transportation of meat and hides home is not included. All licenses and fees must be paid in advance of your hunt so your license and tag can be waiting for you when you arrive.
