We operate two adjoining guiding concessions in northwestern B.C. that together encompass over 2,200 square miles of some of B.C.’s most spectacular wilderness. With many seasons of experience guiding and outfitting you can be sure that the small dedicated team of guides and staff will work hard to offer you the best of the area and hopefully some good luck!
We are continually working to improve every aspect of your experience with us. We have modernized the main lodge while maintaining its rustic charm. Cabins have been updated and new remote camps added at strategic locations. Spike camps are typically built on platforms for added comfort and to keep clothes and gear dry. New trails, tree stands and ground blinds are developed every summer into areas scouted in advance for game that would normally be difficult to access and hunt.
Accommodations
Our hunting camps are thoughtfully positioned throughout the concession, giving hunters quick access to productive terrain while providing a comfortable place to recharge each evening. Depending on the location, accommodations include rustic lodges, cozy cabins, or spacious wall tents built on wooden platforms. Every camp is heated with a wood-burning stove, creating a warm retreat where guests can relax, enjoy hearty meals, and prepare for another day in the field.
Our main lodge, which is accessible by vehicle, offers many of the conveniences of home. Guests enjoy electricity, running water, hot showers, high-speed Wi-Fi, a landline phone, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sleeping quarters, and the warmth of a wood stove. Its location also provides easy access to nearby town services when needed. The lodge serves as the central gathering place where guides and hunters meet before heading out each morning and reconnect in the evening to share stories, review the day’s adventure, and plan the next hunt.
For those seeking a true backcountry experience, our fly-in camps deliver unforgettable wilderness hunting. Reached only by floatplane, these remote camps are located on pristine lakes and provide exceptional comfort for small groups. Guests can stay in a historic main cabin or one of the nearby guest cabins while enjoying outstanding access to surrounding hunting areas. Whether traveling nearby trails, glassing from elevated stands, or exploring the shoreline by boat, hunters are immersed in some of the most scenic and productive country imaginable.
Life at camp is part of the adventure. Between hunts, guests often help keep the wood stove fueled, lend a hand with simple camp tasks, or relax around the table while watching for moose and other wildlife along the lake’s edge. Another of our exclusive fly-in camps is located within a protected wilderness area in British Columbia, where a glacier-fed lake, towering mountain peaks, and complete solitude create an unforgettable setting. From this remote cabin, hunters can explore miles of pristine shoreline by boat while enjoying one of the province’s most spectacular landscapes.
To maximize opportunities throughout the season, we also utilize additional backcountry cabins and spike camps located in key hunting areas. These wall tents are built on raised wooden floors and heated with wood stoves, providing a comfortable base when conditions call for moving deeper into the wilderness. This flexible camp system allows us to adapt to game movement and ensures hunters have access to as much productive country as possible throughout their hunt.
MEALS
A satisfying meal is the perfect way to begin and end a successful day in the field. We take pride in serving hearty, home-style cooking that keeps hunters energized and ready for each day’s adventure. Breakfast typically includes favorites such as bacon or sausage, farm-fresh eggs, crispy hash browns, seasonal fruit, freshly baked cinnamon rolls or muffins, along with hot coffee and juice. When the day’s hunt calls for staying in the backcountry, we’ll have a filling packed lunch prepared and ready to take with you before you head out.
After a rewarding day in the field, guests return to the aroma of freshly prepared appetizers and another outstanding home-cooked meal. Dinner is always a surprise, and it’s become a tradition for hunters and guides alike to speculate throughout the day about what will be served that evening. Each meal is complemented by fresh salads, homemade bread, seasonal vegetables, fruit, and a delicious dessert, providing the perfect ending to a memorable day of hunting and great company.
